We are devoted to helping pet owners understand, manage, and modify undesirable pet behaviors. Together, we will identify the cause of the troubling behavior to develop a treatment plan using positive reinforcement training. We enjoy working with clients to help their pets be more reliably obedient, less fearful, less reactive, and more cooperative during day-to-day life.
We use science-based, force-free, positive reinforcement training techniques. We strive to use only the most humane and scientifically supported training and behavior modification methods. We will not use any methods or tools that intentionally cause discomfort, fear, stress, or pain. Training is about teamwork and building communication and bonds that transcends lifetimes.

We are committed to continuing our education of canine ethology, cognition, psychology, training, evolution, physiology, neurobiology, learning theory, and husbandry to better provide your canine behavioral services. Since we feel that it is unethical to make guarantees about behavior and dog training results because each person’s skills and commitment to training modification are different and behavior is very variable and complex. However, we guarantee to uphold the highest ethical and moral standards while providing the most up-to-date, positive reinforcement dog training, and behavior modification knowledge. We treat all our students, canines, and humans, compassionately and humanely.
Services
Behavior Consultation
Have specific questions about your dog's behavior or training? Our certified professional dog trainer offers telephone or virtual consultations to provide prompt support and guidance tailored to your needs. To set up a behavior consultation call or email with your availability, a brief description of your dog (age, breed, housemates, unwanted behaviors, etc.), training goals, and your questions. The first fifteen-minute phone consultation per household is free. Our ears are open to you!
Professional Training
Unlock your dog's potential with our professional training sessions, designed to establish a strong foundation in obedience and behavior through positive reinforcement techniques. List a couple of your training goals and a professional dog trainer creates a plan and will coach you to successfully reach those goals. A one-hour session can address three to six commands, goals, or questions. Sessions can be scheduled in your home, neighborhood, or community.
Professional Handling
Professional handling is like homeschooling for your pup! If you have a busy schedule, our professional handling service can be added to any training program or package. If you're short on time or need extra support, a certified professional dog trainer can work with your canine near your home or in your neighborhood. You may choose whether to be present during a handling session. Note: this service does not include traveling with or transporting canines.
Perfect Puppy Starter Program
An ultimate training starter program for puppies as young as two months old covering puppy development, handling skills, crate training, house training, grooming tips, socialization, puppy manners, beginner obedience, and bad behavior prevention. This starter program is exceptionally great for the first-time puppy owner. It includes puppy training, skills practice, handler coaching, and a written program guide.
The Courteous Canine Course
Teach your canine class with this courteous canine course! A comprehensive foundation training program for dogs of any age covers all basic obedience, doggy manners, socialization, bad behavior prevention, and more. It includes dog training, skills practice, handler coaching, and a written program guide.
Recovering from Reactivity Program
Train Loyal Companion’s most popular program. This remedial socialization training program treats mildly reactive behaviors, including leash reactivity, barrier frustration, and fear aggression. The trainer will work closely with you, your family, and your dogs to implement a proven problem-solving process. It includes training, skills practice, handler coaching, and a written program guide.
Private Pup School
Have multiple dog training goals? Address all your training goals and dog behavior concerns in addition to teaching and proofing all basic manners and obedience in a customizable training program.
List your training goals, and a professional trainer will create a plan and coach you toward success.
Humane Education
We offer engaging, age-appropriate humane education lessons for preschools, churches, youth groups, family events, local rescue groups, and animal shelters.
Our most popular session, the Youth Dog Bite Prevention Plan, includes a short, interactive presentation followed by hands-on practice in safely meeting a canine companion. Participants also receive a free humane education booklet: It’s Cool to Be Kind.

All humane education lessons are completely free. Donations are always appreciated but never required.
Classes & Workshops
Train Loyal Companions, LLC collaborates with other professionals to offer group training classes, educational lectures, and workshops. Classes offered include Pet Tech’s PetSaver Program, Canine Leash Skills Workshops, Obedience Drill Sessions, and more!
Are you interested in receiving a 2-year pet first aid and CPR certification with skills practice and training? Check out pet first aid classes. Privately hosted group classes are available. Contact us to schedule a class or search for nearby classes online, at www.PetTech.net.
Service Hours & Areas
Available by appointment, daily from 9 am to 9 pm. Serving Monroe County in Indiana and surrounding areas.
Service Fees & Payments
All fees are due at the time of service, and all sales are final. Services, including credits and gift certificates, must be scheduled within six months of purchase. Clients sign a registration, liability waiver, and payment agreement upon starting any service. Standard rate: $30 per fifteen minutes, $60 per half hour, or $120 per hour.
Our Guarantee
As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and member of the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, we have willingly pledged not to make training and behavior modification guarantees as behavior is too complex and variable to do so. Everyone has different training skills and commitment to training, plus each canine is different too. What we do guarantee is that we are committed to continuing our education as a pledge to uphold the highest ethical and moral standards, providing the most up-to-date positive reinforcement training and behavior modification consulting, and a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and compassionate customer service while also giving back to the community by volunteering to promote animal advocacy through community outreach.
